A lot of hay seems to have been made over the idea of Clinton supporters not supporting Obama in the general and vice versa. Counter-intuitively (or maybe intuitively, to some), Clinton supporters seem less likely to support Obama in the general, something that's been used to make the case of her electability. I think most pundits are dismissing these polls, saying that it's all heat of the moment arguments and all. Something I'm tempted to believe.
Somewhat.
Now I can't speak for Clinton supporters and how you guys feel, but as an Obama supporter, I'm part of a pretty fickle demographic: the youth vote. I'm a 23 year-old college student about to graduate in a few weeks, and being one of the most politically-inclined people in my school, I got a pretty good feel for the pulse of the youth. And if these guys say they're not supporting Clinton if she wins, I'd be pretty tempted to believe them.
If for no other reason than to give some insight into the perspective of this group, I feel the need to explain why this is...
